The Siena Biomedical Research Program was launched by Temple University. The program will be overseen by Antonio Giordano, MD, PhD, President of the Sbarro Health Research Organization, Director of the Sbarro Institute for Cancer Research and Molecular Medicine and the Center for Biotechnology at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
A limited number of opportunities are available for qualified Temple College of Science and Technology students to participate in a special for-credit research program in Siena, Italy during Summer 2015. Students will be working at the Sbarro Institute for Cancer Research and Molecular Medicine, in collaboration the Department of Medicine, Surgery and Neurosciences at the University of Siena.
Students enroll in a research course for 3 credits. Interested students should contact Rose McGinnis in the College of Science and Technology to determine which specific course would be appropriate for their major.
